Danish Singer Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen Releases Elvis Album at U.S. Ambassador's Residence.
On November 5, Danish and American culture came together in a completely new way at Ambassador Cain's residence "Rydhave." Danish singer Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen released is 34th album - "Love Me Tender" - which pays tribute to Elvis Presley and contains 14 of Elvis' best -loved ballads. Presenting Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen with a gold album for Love Me Tender's pre release sales of over 15.000 copies, Ambassador Cain noted that this was the first album release ever at Rydhave. Following the presentation, Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen gave guests and the press a taste of "The King" by performing three songs from the album. After the short set, participants had the chance to talk to Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen about the new album.
