Professor Livingston speaks at DIMS and Aarhus University

Professor Steven Livingston from George Washington University, School of Media and Public Affairs, visited Denmark on October 29-20 to be keynote speaker at a conference on "War and the Media" organized by the Danish Institute for Military Studies (DIMS). The conference was held at the Danish parliamentary building - Christiansborg. Livingston also visited Aarhus University in Jutland and spoke to students and faculty on a related topic.

At both events, Livingston attracted large and enthusiastic crowds. At the DIMS conference, he addressed an expert audience on the ongoing information technology revolution and its likely impacts on political decision making in the present and future.  Livingston's balanced and energetic talk encapsulated the theme of the day. In Aarhus, Livingston spoke to a less experienced but very interested audience. He engaged his youthful audience in direct conversation. Livingston capped his program with an in-depth interview with Danish weekly Weekendavisen.
