Day 3 - From Vordingborg to Haslev

Today's route went from Vordingborg and almost all the way to Haslev.

Starting at Vordingborg City Hall Ambassador Cain biked to the Goose Tower, the best preserved medieval tower in Denmark. Next to the tower, on the grounds of what used to be the biggest medieval castle in Denmark is Danmarks Borgcenter, a museum dedicated to Denmark's castles. From there Ambassador Cain went to Rosenfeld Estate and then to Svinø Church. At Svinø, 46 American from World War II were buried until they were relocated to the US. From Svinø, Ambassador Cain biked to Næstved. Half way there he was met by the Mayor of Næstved Henning Jensen and members of the local sports cyclists club.

In Næstved Ambassador Cain visited Næstved Language and Integration Center, the opening of the HandiArt exhibition and the famous old boarding school Herlufsholm. After Herlufsholm Ambassador Cain biked towards Haslev. On August 28 Ambassador Cain will continue where he stopped today.
