Vesting Senate NATO Parliamentary Assembly Delegation Attends Reception Hosted by Ambassador Cain

Some 350 parliamentarians from 40 countries are attending the annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, including delegates from all 26 NATO member countries, 15 NATO associate delegations and 12 other delegations with the status of parliamentary observer.
Six U.S. Senators participated in events with Danish colleagues on Friday, November 11, including a reception hosted by Ambassador Cain for the visiting delegation. The U.S. Senate delegation headed by Senator Gordon Smith (R-OR) included in addition to Senator Smith, Senator Trent Lott (R-MS), Senator Wayne Allard (R-CO), Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY), Senator George Voinovich (R-OH), and Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL).

At the 51st Annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Copenhagen, national parliamentarians from Europe and North America adopted three Economic and Security Committee reports, the links to which are listed below:
