Danish and U.S. Basketball Teams Squared off in Friendly Match

The New England Colonials played against the Falcons of Frederiksberg in a friendly exhibition game on April 21, 2006. Ambassador Cain performed the tip-off for the second half and presented a letter from the Mayor of Boston -Thomas Menino- to the Mayor of Frederiksberg Mads Lebech expressing Menino's apprectiation of the spirit of community between the two teams, which have now been associated through a Club of Friendship for five years.
After the game the New England Colonials' players and coaches joined the Falcon players and coaches in introducing students from local Frederiksberg schools to the basics of the sport.
