Ambassador Performs Coin Toss at NFL Europe Game

Ambassador Cain attended an NFL Europe game in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to the game, the Ambassador greeted 40 members of the German THW, a technical emergency relief organization under the authority of the federal government who were assigned to New Orleans to provide technical assistance in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina last year. He thanked them for their assistance on behalf of the U.S. Government.
Ambassador Cain also performed the coin toss prior to the game between the Frankfurt Galaxy and the Berlin Thunder, two members of the six-team NFL Europe. In front of over 26,000 spectators, the Galaxy defeated the Thunder 18-17 in thrilling fashion, kicking a field goal with seconds remaining after engineering an 83 yard drive on their final possession.
