Professor Richard Pells visited Denmark May 31-June 1 on a U.S. Government speaker program to speak on American cultural history at the Danish Institute of Military Studies (DIMS) and at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. He also introduced two John Wayne movie classics "Red River" (1948) and "The Searchers" (1956) at the Danish Film Institute on the occasion of John Wayne's centenary.
