Ambassador Cain Speaks at Super Tuesday Event at Copenhagen University

On the Monday before Super Tuesday, Ambassador Cain spoke to over 150 students and faculty at the University of Copenhagen. The Ambassador delivered the opening speech at the event which also included a panel debate and  a Q & A with Danish scholars and journalists who have US politics as their specialty. In his speech Ambassador Cain talked about the US electoral system and the importance of Super Tuesday. He also delivered his personal Campaign Jokes 2008 Top Ten consisting of jokes aired primarily on American late night shows. These shows, and their hosts, are well known in Denmark and the jokes were very well received by the students. The event was moderated by Pro Rector of the university, Lykke Friis, who, like Ambassador Cain, is an avid sports fan. After Ambassador Cain's speech, Lykke Friis presented him with a red-white-and-blue handball. To underline the American theme at the end of the event, everybody had donuts and balloons came down from the balcony above.
