Warden Message, September 5 - Demonstrations in Copenhagen
Danish authorities are reporting that on Thursday, September 6 there will be demonstrations held by supporters and former users of Ungdomshuset (the Youth House). Starting at 17:00, the demonstration will begin at 69 different addresses in the city of Copenhagen and will march to Radhuspladsen for a mass demonstration. (Ungdomshuset's address was Jagtvej 69, which is why the demonstrations will start at number 69 on the streets listed below.) Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence. American citizens are therefore urged to avoid the areas of demonstrations if possible, and to exercise caution if within the vicinity of any demonstrations. We encourage U.S. citizens in Denmark to monitor media reports scheduled for the following areas:
