Tourist (B-2)

A citizen of a foreign country who does not qualify to travel on the Visa Waiver Program must obtain a visa before traveling to the United States .

In addition to the items listed on the visa application check list, visitors who are going to the United States for a tourist visit must bring the following to their visa interview:

Proof of Finance : Proof that you can support yourself during your entire stay in the U.S. ;

Employment Letter : Proof of employment, study, or other commitments that will demonstrate that your stay in the U.S. will be temporary.

Visa Free Travel

Danish passport holders are generally qualified to travel to the United States on the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) which means visa free travel. Danish travelers coming to the U.S. for tourism or business for 90 days or less are eligible to visit the U.S. without a visa. For full details please refer to Visa Waiver Program. The Visa Waiver Program does not allow work or study while in the U.S. and visitors cannot stay longer than 90 days or change their status to another category.
